After I developed hearing loss in my good ear, I initially tried an NHS hearing aid, but it amplified all sounds and wasn’t very helpful. I have been provided with a lovely pair of hearing aids. I use them in orchestra where I lead the viola section. The sound quality is great and I can hear everything much better.
