Founded in 2017 by experienced audiologist Samuel, Hummingbird was born out of a desire to provide truly client-focused care—free from the constraints of large organisations. After years of working with national high street providers, Samuel wanted to create a practice where trust, personal attention, and clinical excellence could thrive. In 2019, Eleanor joined the business in an active role, bringing her expertise in client relationship management to further enhance the service. Hummingbird has since grown into a trusted family-run clinic, serving communities across Cheshire and beyond.

Samuel qualified as an audiologist in 2007 and brings a wealth of experience from hospital settings, GP surgeries, and private clinics. Over the years, he has helped hundreds of clients improve their quality of life through better hearing. Samuel and Eleanor work together to ensure every client receives not only expert care during their initial consultation, but also ongoing support throughout their hearing journey.
